Coronavirus Townhall for Gym Owners & Personal Trainers - Shared screen with speaker view
at home coaching - do you mean literally at their house or more of a FaceTime type of thing?
I posted about an open gym option for commercial gym folks who wanted to reduce their risk of exposure to people. Should we keep pursuing that as long as we're allowed to be open?
That was a temporary option. Thanks for doing this Chris!
I had scheduled an 8 week challenge in the beginning of April. I was going to begin advertising it now. Should I move forward with that, or no?
So, you think any nurse in a hospital or just those who are working in er?
sorry if I missed this, but did I just hear you say asking your health care provider members to possibly stay at home during this time?
Do you think we should keep allowing drop ins or limit classes to just current members?
can't find the facebook group...
I'd highly recommend if you do need to shut down to use your space for hospital beds. I've just contacted our local emerg center and left a message offering my space as overflow.
do you have any recommendations for gym cleaning protocol?
Should we loan equipment out to members? Kettlebells, weight plates, dumbbells, dballs
You, 4:31 PM 95% of the boxes in our country (Portugal) are now closed. We don’t want to follow as sheep but it inevitable the government will close us. The social following is that people are championing the closures. I think that’s due to the lack of leadership and guidance on remaining open, but I really appreciate your opinion. 👍🏼🙋🏼♀️ thank you
I'm also looking to give clients a "care package" with at home programming. Care package includes dumbbell, skipping rope and pullup bar. They pay a $60 deposit to use equipment which is refundable when they return it and come back to main class.
Would you have an example of the email that should be sent to clients?
As a new gym owner in the midst of lots of marketing, should I hold off/cancel marketing efforts as the ROI might be in question? Is joining a new gym the absolute last thing on someone's mind right now, and if so how can I change that? Thanks!
We are holding a comp march 28th in house comp, should we cancel it
My husbands worried people will quit and suspend
What about other first responders such as firefighters and paramedics that are attending medical calls daily?
Piggybacking off of my last question, what about holding the challenge ALL online. I have TRUCOACH for the workouts....can build an online nutrition support system, also have my self and my Coaches check in frequently for support.
Would you put the online at home coaching out there before someone decides to cancel. To get ahead of it.......
We were planning on starting the Re-open in April. Should we continue?
I know there has been some questions about the in house competition........I am on the fence with post poning ours. It is Next Saturday.....
What are your thoughts on offering body weight "live virtual" group classes via zoom or Google Hangouts for members to be able to complete their workouts from home and still create a community feel? Thinking that this would be similar to what people are getting from products such as Mirror or Peloton.
will this video be posted somewhere? I missed the first 15mins
Chris, thanks for doing this along with all of the great free info that you provide through two brain emails, YouTube, etc. I'm a big fan of two brain business and help first. I have your new one too, but haven't had a chance to dive in yet. Keep up the great work!
I’m the owner and am 61 years old. I have at least 15 members 50-61. They begged me last night to don’t close the gym. I will offer them the at home training, but knowing their personalities, they’ll stay for now.
Thank you for doing this Chris!
